EcoTrack taps into this potential by mapping wildlife activities and engaging residents in conservation

to create a stronger ecological network.

Smart systems often deepen human isolation from ecological contexts. To foster connection, they must avoid abstracting wildlife into data or spectacle. The real question is how to design interactions that cultivate subtle attunement to more-than-human rhythms—inviting humans to dwell with, rather than merely observe, the life around them.
