Wildlife Communication / Packaging Design / Field-informed Ecological Storytelling
Developed with Chengdu Clover Nature Education Centre
Field research in Pingwu County, Sichuan, China
2026
Conservation appeared as a form of everyday community work, sustained through observation, maintenance, communication, and long-term familiarity with the forest.
Outcome
This project considers how a protected species becomes part of community identity through everyday conservation work, local storytelling, and public-facing products. The packaging provides one accessible way for these relationships to travel beyond the field site and enter ordinary encounters.
Designing for conservation therefore also means designing how communities represent, share, and sustain their relationships with the species and landscapes around them.
